Jewish Community Centers or JCCs are similar to YMCAs. In fact the umbrella association, JCC Association, also includes YMHA and YWHA organizations. There are approximately 350 such organizations in the United States and Canada. They provide classes in religion, culture and exercise.

As the name implies, JCC are centers for the community. They provide places and activities to gather and support the local Jews.
